Ann Marie Ramos

Ann Marie was born and raised in Stockton and relocated to the Bay Area to complete her sociology degree with an emphasis in social work at California State University East Bay. She has ten years of experience working in affordable housing and several years providing homeless services to the most vulnerable in San Joaquin and Alameda Counties. She has also managed the Keep Oakland Housed, Keep Hayward Housed and Keep Emeryville Housed programs. She is passionate about advocating, supporting and uplifting underserved communities, which has led her to Centro Legal de la Raza to continue to be of service to those in need. Her favorite pastime is witnessing the beauty and innocence of being with her eight-month-old son and watching him discover and getting excited about the simplest things in life.
