Tenants Rights Housing Advocate

Elisha is a Housing Advocate for the Tenants’ Rights Program. She was born and raised in Hayward where she currently serves on the City of Hayward Community Services Commission. Elisha received her BA in the History of Public Policy from UC Santa Barbara this past June 2018 and wrote her senior dissertation on Chinese resistance to immigration restrictions in the Bay Area. Elisha hopes to pursue a career in policy change and advocacy and is especially passionate about fighting gentrification in the Bay Area. She is currently excited and grateful to be working with the Tenants’ Rights team at Centro Legal where she can assist her community and work alongside people with similar values and passions.
