Centro Legal Attorney Interviewed by Univision about Wage Theft under the Trump Administration

Derek Schoonmaker, Centro Legal’s Workers’ Rights Program Director, spoke to Univision 14 about the possibility of wage theft becoming more prevalent under the Trump administration. Wage theft deprives California workers of $1.2 billion dollars each year and could be on the rise as a climate of fear emboldens unscrupulous employers and dissuades workers from reporting violations.
