Shira Levine

Litigation Staff Attorney

Shira joined Centro Legal’s litigation team in January 2015 to represent low-income workers, tenants, and other clients in affirmative cases in state and federal court. Previously, she worked as a fellow for the Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center and as a judicial law clerk for Judge Harry Pregerson of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She received her J.D. from Stanford Law School in 2012, where she participated in the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic and the Community Law Clinic. Before law school, Shira received her B.A. from the University of Michigan in History, and Latin American and Caribbean Studies, and taught bilingual first grade in the Bronx.
